新横浜ジュニアアイスホッケークラブは横浜GRITSと提携し、「横浜GRITSジュニア」として活動をスタート

横浜GRITSジュニアは、KOSE新横浜スケートセンターをホームリンクとして活動する、園児から中学生までの男子・女子メンバーが所属するアイスホッケークラブです。（神奈川県アイスホッケー連盟所属）

2025年4月より、アジアリーグに所属する「横浜GRITS」と提携し、新横浜ジュニアアイスホッケークラブから「横浜GRITSジュニア」にチーム名を変更し、活動を開始いたしました。

品川ジュニアアイスホッケークラブ、新横浜プリンスジュニアアイスホッケークラブ、新横浜ジュニアアイスホッケークラブと50年以上にわたり築いてきた伝統を受け継ぎ、神奈川から日本のアイスホッケーの将来を担うプレーヤーたちが「気配り」「共感」「思いやり」の精神を持ち成長できるよう活動していきます。

監督・コーチは父母主体で構成しながらも、総監督は横浜GRITSの岩本裕司ヘッドコーチが務め、横浜GRITSの選手たちとともに指導にあたります。

Yokohama GRITS Junior are a junior ice hockey team based in Yokohama that calls KOSE Shin-Yokohama Skate Center home. We are a co-ed team with 5yo – 15yo (up to Grade 12) players.

We have English speaking coaches and parents to assist non-Japanese speaking families. Feel free to contact us in English for more information or for a free trial session.

The team’s name is new since April 2025 after partnership with Yokohama GRITS, an Asia League Ice Hockey professional team, but the team carries over 50 years of heritage.

The parent coaches are assisted by Yuji Iwamoto, the current head coach for the Yokohama GRITS (pro), who plays the General Head Coach role for our team.
